Sue Sonday serves as Vice President, Commercial Technology for Reynolds American (a $15 billion division of British American Tobacco).

Reporting to the CTO, Sue is responsible for helping achieve company strategy and business objectives, through the innovative use of technology and data. She leads a team of 150 talented individuals (internal and external), deploying technology across Reynolds’ consumer, marketing, trade, analytics and growth management functions.

An innovative, customer and data-obsessed executive with over 25 years of experience, Sue has delivered transformational technology solutions for some of the world’s largest companies including Microsoft, Sapient/Razorfish and Capital One. Prior to Reynolds, Sue spent 6 years at Salesforce helping Consumer Goods companies leverage technology to drive transformational business outcomes.

Sue has broad global experience having completed assignments for the North American, Asia-Pacific, and European markets. She excels in aligning transformation initiatives, including AI and data science, to drive out-sized business value.
